The Variscite VAR-SOM-MX7 System on Module delivers optimized power, size, and cost with integrated real-time capabilities for embedded systems. Utilizing NXP’s i.MX 7 application processor, this module provides a balanced solution combining efficient processing with real-time co-processor capabilities for industrial applications. 

The iMX7 module features dual 1GHz Cortex-A7 cores with a dedicated 200MHz Cortex-M4 real-time co-processor, delivering stable performance with comprehensive connectivity including dual Gigabit Ethernet, certified Wi-Fi/Bluetooth module, and 2D PxP graphics acceleration engine. The module supports comprehensive display interfaces and operates across industrial temperature ranges from -20°C to 85°C, making it suitable for demanding environmental conditions. 

Pin-compatible with other VAR-SOM modules, it enables seamless scalability across Variscite’s VAR-SOM Pin2Pin family, allowing customers to migrate between different performance levels without carrier board redesigns.
