Il VAR-SOM-AM62P è un System on Module (SoM)/Computer on Module che punta all’ottimizzazione dei costi e offre solide prestazioni per applicazioni multimediali avanzate con codifica/decodifica video H.264/H.265, GPU 3D e multi-schermo.
Dotato del SoC Sitara™ AM62Px di Texas Instruments, il VAR-SOM-AM62P combina un SoC quad-core Cortex®-A53 a 1,4 GHz con un co-processore in tempo reale Cortex-R5F a 800 MHz. Il SoM offre ampie opzioni di connettività, tra cui Wi-Fi 6 certificato (802.11ax/ac/a/b/g/n) con 802.15.4 e Bluetooth/BLE 5.4, doppia Ethernet Gigabit, CAN-FD 4x, audio, ingresso telecamera e doppia USB. Costruito per essere affidabile in ambiente industriale, opera a un intervallo di temperatura compreso tra -40°C e 85°C.
In quanto componente della famiglia VAR-SOM Pin2Pin, il VAR-SOM-AM62P offre una scalabilità ininterrotta su un’ampia gamma di piattaforme, dai SoM entry-level a quelli ad alte prestazioni, semplificando lo sviluppo e aumentando la longevità del prodotto.
